Dear FLC family,

Quick update from my hospital room....Mary and I have sorted thru everything tonight, that has happened the last few days and what the doctor told us this evening, and I believe this statement covers most of what he said....just want you up to date so you'll have the facts.

My doctor wanted me to come in last week after a grossly failed stress test, but I just couldn't miss Easter with family, and brothers and sisters, and the Lord kept His hand on me; so we came to the hospital Sunday evening after church.  By The Way --- We will be baptizing Jeremy Bryce in Jesus name this coming Sunday....praise the Lord!!!

I will try, in layman's terms, to explain basically where things are --- two out of three of my bypasses are either totally non-functioning or only partly functioning.  The good part is that the third bypass is doing very well and runs parallel to another artery that is healthy and doing well. He said my widow maker is still ok and not in danger, after my heart surgery in 2023, which is great!

While my heart refraction rate is currently at 29%, my doctor is planning a different medicine routine and then in a month or two, look at stents and management to bring the refraction rate up to a higher level.

The great finding of this week's tests is that my heart is not at a point of giving up, I had no stroke or heart-attack and that with a different medicine routine, eventual stent work and of course prayer, the refraction rate can be brought back up to a place of much safer percentage so that I eventually have more energy. Prayers have been heard and the Lord is working!

They thought I was having a heart-attack Sunday night in the ER because enzymes and everything pointed to it, but it seems the Lord did a great work Sunday night in the ER and there is no evidence of a stroke or heart-attack after further testing....praise the Lord!

I know many of you were praying and I thank you for that!

It appears with a change of medicine, stent work in time and most of all, the Lord's touch, my doctor feels we can get the refraction rate up to a healthier level and manage things.

It's highly likely prayer stopped a heart attack Sunday evening and after today's test, my doctor has direction on how to manage things and get things better from here.

Just wanted the good people of FLC to hear it from me on what Mary and our family have pieced together this evening and if we have anymore serious updates, we will keep you informed.

I want to thank all who have prayed for me and have stood with Mary and our family, praying for and encouraging them!

Thank you for the sweet calls and texts!

I have felt the peace of the Lord and I know He has all things in His hands!

THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!

We love all of you!

Blessings in Jesus name!
